Best friend and significant other in one shot..

Best part about the picture is that half the people at my school that see me and/or are associated with school organizations wouldn't be able to tell which one was which..

HA!

Haven't you heard? Liberals in Utah are.. GAY.

Not that it bothers me much.. Either perception of me isn't an insult. Assume away at whichever sexual preference I am, it's just that and it's not something that defines me in every shape and form.

Why exactly is that considered insult anyway? "This is GAY" or "Oh my god, that's so GAY!"

Huh? Why doesn't anyone say, "Dear lord that's METRO!" or "Why that's so HETERO!"

What does bother me is the fact that I was told blatantly by the school board that there is no procedure to remove a club or organization that oversteps it's bounds at any time. Whether it be through abuse or violent action towards other groups, or even misrepresenting the college.. anything. They essentially stated that the only way a group could be disbanded is only if that group reduces another group to being frightened of physical harm on campus.

Riiiight..

So I've got to feel like I'm going to be physically harmed before a school board will take action against belligerent abuse?

In the words of the immortal Cartman:
"Screw you guys, I'm going home."

I whispered, 'I am too young,'
And then, 'I am old enough';
Wherefore I threw a penny
To find out if I might love.
'Go and love, go and love, young man,
If the lady be young and fair.'
Ah, penny, brown penny, brown penny,
I am looped in the loops of her hair.

O love is the crooked thing,
There is nobody wise enough
To find out all that is in it,
For he would be thinking of love
Till the stars had run away
And the shadows eaten the moon.
Ah, penny, brown penny, brown penny,
One cannot begin it too soon.

American Jesus by Bad Religion

Don't need to be a global citizen
because i'm blessed by nationality
I'm member of a growing populace
we enforce our popularity
there are things that
seem to pull us under
and there are things
that drag us down
but there's a power
and a vital presence
thats lurking all around
we've got the american Jesus
see him on the interstate
we've got the american Jesus
he helped build the
president's estate
i feel sorry
for the earth's population
'cuz so few
live in the U.S.A.
at least the foreigners
can copy our morality
they can visit but they cannot stay
only precious few
can garner the prosperity
it makes us walk
with renewed confidence
we've got a place to go when we die
and the architect resides right here
we've got the american Jesus
overwhelming millions every day
(exercising his authority)
he's the farmers barren fields
the force the army wields
the expession in the faces
of the starving children
the power of the man
he's the fuel that drives the clan
he's the motive and conscience
of the murderer
he's the preacher on t.v.
the false sincerity
the form letter that's written
by the big computers
he's the nuclear bombs
and the kids with no moms
and i'm fearful that
he's inside me
